AI Basics - August 2025

The AI Basics training is an introductory course to the new and only comprehensive AI program in Kenya, aimed at beginners who want to enter the world of AI. The course is free and provides basic knowledge about AI technologies and their application in personal and professional terms. The training sessions cover the history and essence of AI and generative models, such as ChatGPT. Students will get acquainted with tools for creating texts, images, video and audio. During the course, the basics of prompt engineering will be mastered, a key technique for interacting with AI, which will teach participants how to formulate effective queries for better results. After this 2-week course, enrolled students will have a solid foundation and readiness to apply AI in a variety of personal projects and professional fields. The course ends with a theoretical exam, which is at the request of the student.

The course is for beginners who want to develop basic skills in engineering inquiries and understand how AI tools are used personally and professionally. It is suitable for business employees, pupils and students who want to increase their productivity. Required basic level of English.
