Aleksandar Ivanov has over a decade of experience in the IT industry as an instructor, Web Developer and since 2020 as DevOps Consultant and Cloud Architect. His specialty is the Microsoft, CNCF and Azure ecosystems with strong emphasis on the lifecycle of applications from code to Kubernetes with IaC, observability and GitOps. He is a consultant on development and platform teams of large organizations, Cloud Architect at Singlet developing a DevSecOps Azure-based Kubernetes-centric service called "Bring Your Own Repository" and has led the development of the non-profit Pipeline Foundation that has a goal of contributing DevSecOps best practices to OSS projects on GitHub.

Coding initially sparked his interest, with C# being his favorite language and securing him a previous role as a QA Automation Engineer. A fan of open source software and a Linux advocate, his favorite distribution is OpenSUSE. As a certified Azure specialist, DevOps engineer, and Scrum Master, he is eager to share his knowledge and excel on a teaching career.
